Much More than just a Mall

There’s many impressive ‘Malls’ in America that offer a multitude of shops, eateries and other leisure activities. One of the best I have visited is the Mall at Millenia in Florida, a true designer label paradise!

We’ve even built some Malls of our own, The Trafford Centre, The Bluewater Centre & Meadowhall being some of the biggest.

However, at 12.1million square foot (equivalent to 50 football pitches), The Dubai Mall somewhat surpasses all of these

The Dubai Mall, opened in 2008, offers a cutting edge shopping and leisure experience, all under one roof! As well as over 1200 designer and high street stores the mall also features an Olympic size ice rink, a 22 screen cinema complex, an aquarium, underwater zoo and a children’s indoor theme park. Sounds like a perfect holiday destination already…

The Fashion Avenue features shops and department stores that quite honestly sell everything! Whether you’re shopping for Bridal wear, cosmetics, trainers or a new suit you’re sure to find it here.

The striking indoor aquarium stands three storeys tall and offers a home to a range of sharks, stingrays, turtles and other exotic marine life.

What about getting something to eat after all that shopping and activity time? The Dubai Mall has over 150 food outlets, offering everything from casual snacks to fine dining experiences from around the globe. The outdoor restaurants situated along the Waterfront Promenade are the ultimate beautiful setting for lunch or dinner.

Another, yes another, of the main attractions to The Dubai Mall, is the remarkable Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world and home to the newest Armani Hotel. Even if you don’t stay at the Armani Hotel you can still visit ‘At The Top Burj Khalifa’ to witness the spectacular views over the Dubai City and Desert.

You could easily spend your whole holiday at Dubai Mall and luckily there are a range of world class hotels located right on its doorstep. The Address Downtown Dubai is a stylish, five star hotel where the luxury can continue.

The Palace Hotel in Old Town Dubai is just opposite the mall and is a contemporary gem located in blissful surroundings of a lake.

What more could you ask for? There’s defiantly something for everyone at The Dubai Mall and a Dubai holiday would seem incomplete without paying a visit.
