Celebrating luxury travel with Condé Nast


Once again the annual Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards have been held at a glittering bash in London celebrating all things to do with luxury holidays, where all the most luxurious and best valued hotels, airlines and tourist boards rubbed shoulders and vied for the ultimate accolade in their area.

As ever, awards were presented based on votes cast by the magazine’s own readers, so marks were awarded for all sorts of things, from family friendliness, location and standard to value for money, quality of food and service. More...

Fur and Feather combo in Hermanus Whale Coast

 In South Africa we feature some inspired lodges and hotels perfectly positioned for safari into Big Five territory or Whale watching.

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve has actually just reported the arrival of more whales with seven being spotted in Walker Bay and perfectly visible from the shore; but whales are not the only animal spectacle creating interest this week.
